What should I expect with my day spa visit? Seaside Tan & Spa’s staff will pamper you with quality services. The day spa is totally private, quiet, and naturally relaxing.
During massage therapy, only the area of the body being massaged is exposed. The rest of the body is draped with sheets. Your comfort is always considered. Robes, gowns, and slippers are provided.
Should I arrive early for my appointment? We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early. This additional time allows you to change into a robe and slippers and secure all of your items in a private locker.
This time also allows you to complete a questionnaire so that your technician can take into consideration any health problems or medications and personalize your spa experience without conflict.
If you have a condition such as asthma, diabetes, or lupus, you should get your doctor’s approval for any treatment you would like to try. People with high blood pressure or a heart condition my want to avoid any treatment that involves heat or detoxification.
Are spa treatments recommended for pregnant women? The relaxation may be just what the expectant mother needs. We do recommend that you avoid treatments involving heat, such as the steam room or whirlpool, treatments utilizing pressure or detoxification, and certain aromatherapy oils.
Are gratuities included? Gratuities are not included. Gratuities range from 15 to 20 percent of the service price and are fully discretionary. If you are receiving services from different technicians, separate envelopes with the technicians’ names are provided.
What is the cancellation policy? Your day has been carefully planned. The various technicians’ time has been reserved especially for you. We request a 48-hour notice to cancel spa appointments. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy on all spa services or a 50 percent service fee will be applied. A guaranteed spa appointment requires a 50 percent deposit.
